Why this one earns its place

  • Solid fir lattice — hang pots in any composition you design
  • Renter-friendly: two hanging points, no tile drilling
  • Plants stay potted — water in place or lift to the sink
  • Works indoors and on sheltered balconies
  • Pairs with clip grow lights and propagation tubes
  • Trailing plants weave the grid into a seamless green wall

The full story

The Living Wall Frame Grid treats plants like art: a natural fir grid, 90 × 60 cm, with a lattice of rails that holds pots, propagation tubes, air plants and trailing vines in whatever composition you design. Unlike pocket systems, plants stay in their own pots — lift one out to water it in the sink, rearrange the layout on a Sunday, swap seasonal stars without touching the rest.

It is the most renter-friendly green wall we sell. The frame hangs from two points on a single heavy picture rail, wall plugs or a standing lean against the wall; no tiles drilled, no deposit lost. Indoors it becomes the focal point of a living room or home office; on a sheltered balcony it handles the same job in weather-rated fir with a water-based protective oil.

The grid also plays well with our other lines: clip grow lights tuck into the top rail for dark corners, self-watering pot trios sit neatly in the lower rows, and trailing pothos or ivy weave through the lattice until the grid itself disappears into green.

Questions, answered

Do pots fall out of the grid?

No — the included stabiliser clips lock each pot to the rail, and the lattice pitch is sized so standard 10–12 cm pots seat firmly. Hanging baskets with hangers hook over the rails instead.

How do I water it?

Two options: water each pot in place with a long-spout can, or lift pots out to the sink. Add our self-watering pot trio for the lower rows and you halve the watering round.

Is the wood treated for bathrooms or balconies?

It ships with a water-based protective oil that handles humidity and sheltered outdoor use. For fully exposed balconies, an annual coat of exterior oil keeps it fresh.
